Registering ActiveX / OCX on windows machine
If installer of Urdu ActiveX Control (Urdu Text Box) does not work then you need to implement MANUAL procedure to install Urdu Text Box. Please use winzip to unzip the CAB file. Install the ALKATIB1 font then use "regsvr32 urdutextbox.ocx" command to register the Urdu ActiveX Control. Now you can use Urdu ActiveX in (develoment tools for window) VB (Visual Basic), VC (Visual C), C# (dot net), Powerbuilder , MS Access , Delphi , Visual Foxpro etc. In VB right click on tool box and select "Components" and check the Urdu text box by Naseem Amjad.
